Scope of the role:

• Assist the Maintenance and Mechanical Supervisor to provide timely maintenance and efficient Mechanical Engineering services to Ducab’s assets to ensure optimum operation, minimum loss time and maximum asset life.
• Undertake breakdown maintenance for repairs, fabrication and welding jobs.

Job requirements:

• Three Years Mechanical Diploma or certificate from an accredited industrial training institute with 4- 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy rotating machinery within a large manufacturing plant, in an ERP environment using SAP.
• Good knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Fitting and fabrication skills, problem solving skills and able to read mechanical drawings.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
