 Department Overview:
The Admin & HR department at Jetex is responsible for assisting in providing an effective and quality level of service relating to all visa issues, guiding, and advising staff on all public relation matters. Responsible for all activities relating to the processing of visas, licenses and work permits by liaising with Government Bodies.
Job Purpose:
This job facilitates an effective and smooth business workflow by providing efficient transport of goods/materials from/to clients & Jetex offices. It is responsible for operating the Company vehicles whereby the drivers should practice a safety and health regulations to protect themselves, other drivers as well as the company asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Core duties:
- Responsibly manage the transport of VIP guests/visitor rom/to the airport and hotel as well as touring them around the city as requested by the Operations Team.
- Manage responsibly the transport of items/materials, ensuring efficiency, proper documentation of what the item is, who requested the item, who received the item as well as obtaining proper signatures.
- Strictly adhering to the traffic rules and regulations, observing safe driving, maximum speed limit and maintaining an excellent driving record wherein no violations/fines should be reflected in the record yearly.
- Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained, free from damage, in perfect condition and clean always. Complete the daily Vehicle Check Sheet, to maintain the operational reliability of the vehicle, reporting, when necessary, any vehicle defaults in line with the Vehicle Inspection procedure.
- Observe measures to save costs in fuel consumption by making sure to stop the engine and electric power when not in use or during the waiting period either inside or outside the company premises.
- Manage the routine check-up of company vehicle, ensuring it is well-maintained regularly.
- Complete Customer Care Agent (CCA) duties within the terminal when demand requires, this may include escorting passengers through the terminal/security and boarding flights or meeting arriving flights and assisting PRM through to baggage reclaim.
- Ensure effective implementation of Company policies and regulations regarding the use of vehicles, fuel consumption and safety measures.
- Assist HR & Admin team in submission of application for employment visa, renewal and/or cancellation as well as trade licenses and other official documents necessary for any processing.
- Attended efficiently to all transport requests from the Operations team to ensure expectations are delivered on time.
- Ensure your visibility distinguished to that the in-hotel reception for informing the client or passenger that you are waiting for them in lobby.
- May be required to transport new staff from/to the airport when necessary.
- Participate in training courses to develop skills and capabilities offered by the company. Performs other similar duties as assigned by his direct supervisor.
- Carrying out ad-hoc HR duties as requested.
- Perform other related duties as required by the line manager.
