Requirements:

• A strong understanding of the MENA technology sector and investment landscape.
• A relevant professional qualification, such as a CFA or MBA, is a plus.
• Excellent written and analytical skills with a strong understanding of venture capital investment strategies and portfolio management.
• Proven ability to identify high-growth potential companies and assess market opportunities.
• Strong financial modeling skills and experience building investment cases.
• A first-class work ethic with a commitment to delivering exceptional results and a keen eye for detail.

Role Responsibilities:

• Analyse new business proposals and conduct independent research on high-growth potential companies in the MENA region, focusing on emerging technologies and disruptive innovations within your target industries.
• Prepare detailed investment theses outlining the opportunity, market dynamics, and rationale for investing in specific start-ups.
• Build and maintain complex financial models to assess potential returns on investment (ROI), scalability, and long-term growth trajectories of target start-ups.
• Lead due diligence processes, including evaluating management teams, product-market fit, and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with external advisors and lawyers to structure and negotiate term sheets for equity investments.
• Manage and monitor a portfolio of early-stage or growth-stage technology companies, actively seeking ways to add value beyond just capital.
• Develop and expand your network of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts within the MENA region.
• Proactively manage deal flow, ensuring compliance with all investment and operational risk management protocols.
