Your day to day
- Oversee the dining area and supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring adherence to established operating policies.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere, providing feedback, coaching, and maintaining high standards of behavior.
- Maintain records of staff performance and operating costs, and manage scheduling and payroll.
- Handle guest complaints calmly and professionally, seeking feedback to improve service.
- Ensure proper food presentation, handling procedures, and quality of deliveries.
- Order supplies and arrange maintenance for equipment.
- Total receipts, balance sales, and ensure proper bookkeeping.
- Respond flexibly to staffing changes and operational challenges.
- Identify and address restaurant issues through reports and proactive measures.
- Utilize POS and inventory software for effective management.
- Assist in planning regular and special event menus.
